Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) addresses the critical issue of Asset Declarations. Although legally accessible to the public, these declarations often remain secretive. The RTI Commission has made significant progress, and the OGP NAP 2 introduces a CIABOC-supported method for public dissemination. Despite a resistant political culture, some MPs are surpassing legal requirements, setting a positive example. This presentation highlights these efforts and the path toward greater transparency in Sri Lanka.
